Willem van Hooff (b. 1992, Holland) sees himself as a modern craftsman. After graduating from the Design Academy in Eindhoven in 2018, he opened a design studio in Eindhoven. He achieves a raw style by availing of primitive techniques. He often works with traditional machinery, methods, and existing products. His work breaths a new, exciting life into traditional materials.
Van Hoof's ethos maintains that modern production lacks soul, something which Van Hoof is passionate about. The craftsman believes that the coronavirus pandemic has uncovered people's appreciation of the smaller things in life.

Side Gallery is thrilled to present its exhibition "Zero" at Casavells 2021. This year’s edition of the gallery’s seasonal exhibition will showcase works from a new generation of designers and artists. The gallery asked 15 designers to contemplate the concept of starting from zero, leaving behind all we have learnt from the past and focusing on reshaping our future.

Eindhoven-based design studio Dutch Invertuals curated an exhibition of 10 objects to question whether, in the age of the Anthropocene, it is possible to reduce the volume of non-essential products in our lives.
On display for Dutch Design Week, Take Away featured a range of unusual products, from lamps made from old clothes, to altars built from unwanted household rubbish.

The Circle features a selection of pioneering and emerging Dutch Invertuals designers, such as Architects of Identity (Edhv), Daphna Laurens, Raw Color and Martens & Visser, who played a significant role in the genesis of the collective. They embarked on a journey to redesign 'The Circle'. Presented for the first time in Milan during the Salone del Mobile 2019, The Circle exhibition now travels to Dutch Design Week with new Invertuals joining the fair.
