Encoded Symbols showcases the works of Marcin Rusak,the Polish designer recognised for his contribution to the invention of formulas accelerating or arresting the deterioration of organic floral matter. Illustrated by a series of rich photography the book emphasises Rusak’s creative process and presents objects that are composed of biological mixtures made with a combination of innovative practices of craftsmanship. Written by Barbara Brondi & Marco Rainò, it explores the imagination of a functional evolution that presents itself as an alternative to the exclusively ornamental role of plants and flowers.
