Founder of "Ingo Maurer GmbH" in Munich, he revolutionized lighting design, merging functionality with artistic brilliance.
Maurer's iconic "Bulb" series transformed the commonplace light bulb into a sculptural masterpiece. Notable works include the innovative "YaYaHo" lighting system and the poetic "Porca Miseria!" chandelier, showcasing his penchant for blending humor and technology.
