Lina Bo Bardi Giancarlo Palanti. Studio d'Arte Palma 1948-1951 was an exhibition curated as a tribute to the Italian-Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi. The exhibition focused on furniture from the Studio d'Arte Palma, founded by Lina Bo Bardi and the Italian architect Giancarlo Palanti. Produced by Milan's Nilufar Gallery in collaboration with the Instituto Bardi / Casa de Vidro, the show is the outcome of extensive research into the furniture designs of Lina Bo Bardi, an area of her multidisciplinary someowhat overshadowed by her iconic architecture.

"The exhibition focused on furniture from the Studio d'Arte Palma, founded by Lina Bo Bardi and the Italian architect Giancarlo Palanti"

The exhibition presented the largest collection of Bo Bardi furniture ever brought together and showed the forgotten work of Giancarlo Palanti. Many of the pieces displayed, especially chairs and armchairs, are rare objects from Brazil. Both iconic and everyday, they were designed for a specific purpose and a specific context.
