Side Gallery is thrilled to present its exhibition "Zero" at Casavells 2021. This year’s edition of the gallery’s seasonal exhibition will showcase works from a new generation of designers and artists. The gallery asked 15 designers to contemplate the concept of starting from zero, leaving behind all we have learnt from the past and focusing on reshaping our future.

Pink is the New Black showcased a new series of work from Chinese designer Zhou YiLun (周轶伦). The exhibition that took place in the 789 Art District in Beijing, China was presented in the spring of 2021, parallel to YiLun’s first European show, exhibited by Side Gallery in Spanish countryside. Zhou Yilun (周轶伦) works with a variety of mediums intending to examine the stereotypes of a popular culture that are continually reinventing themselves. Pink is the new black was produced and exhibited in collaboration with Room 6X8.

QIAO SPACE is a private exhibition space owned by collector Qiao Zhibing. Through exhibitions of renowned international and domestic artists, QIAO SPACE intends to enrich the perception of contemporary art for the public. Their belief is that the art of our time is as great as the art of any time in human history.
MASTERPIECE 《代表作》exhibition was an example of Qiao Zhibing vision, works were shown by contemporary artists lsuch as Zhou Yilun, represented by Side Gallery.

The exhibition, focused on three independent keywords "Superstition, Blessing, Modernism", presents the new body of "magical" paintings by the artist that is accompanied by a set of sculptures. Semantically deconstructing and parodying iconography and re-interrogating modernist painting in the context of globalized consumerism, the artist hopes to bless the viewer with "superstition" in his work of it.

Room 6x8 presented its first exhibition of 2020, Yaolin Wonderland, on May 21. This also marks the latest release by artist Zhou Yilun for his independent design brand R3PM3. Unlike a conventional exhibition, this solo show features Zhou as a supplier of furniture products, which he has selected to present within this six-by-eight-square-meter space in a demonstration of his reflections on the functionality of art and its use of cutting edge techniques. materials. This is also the first Room 6x8 exhibition to focus on the "secondary creations" of an artist.

‘Must Dream About Blue Tonight’ was shown at Sifang Art Museum. In this exhibition, the theme of “artists’ objects” was demonstrated as the audience were asked to contemplate the emotional connections between objects and artists, as well as their own views and attitudes that arose from the tumultuous events of 2020 so far.
