Biography
Yuki Nishiyama (b. 1988) is a contemporary Japanese artist and glassworker whose practice emphasizes the harmony of material, form, and environment. Graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 2012, Nishiyama has developed a body of work that combines traditional Japanese techniques with experimental glass manipulation and enamel painting. His pieces often reference natural elements and seasons, translating ephemeral phenomena into enduring sculptural objects. Nishiyama’s works have been exhibited across Japan and internationally, and are included in private and public collections that celebrate innovative approaches to materiality and form.
