Biography
Luigi Massoni (b.1930, Milan) designer and architect, was in charge of A&D in Cermenate (Como). He was a member of the Milan School of Architecture and after consolidating his professional career in the 1950s he began to produce important designs for Alessi, creating the cocktail shaker (1957, with Carlo Mazzeri) and the Series 5 containers, which are still in production today.
At the end of the fifties, in 1959, he focused on industrial design, becoming a promoter of the foundation of Mobilia while, also that year, he joined Boffi as designer and production coordinator, where he developed some of the first modular systems for the home and kitchen.
